The George Stamford Wedding | Clemmie & Billy

This gorgeous winter wedding at The George Stamford was such a dream as a photographer. Clemmie and Billy’s love of the countryside was clear to see with the tiny tweed jackets for the children and the adorable child sized Hunter boots. Oh and the wonderful wild flowers by Miss Pickering who is also based in Stamford.

The George is an ideal venue for an intimate, winter wedding in Stamford. There are plenty of cosy warm spaces to enjoy, and outside there an enclosed courtyard and garden. We were lucky enough that the winter sun came out for the family and couple photos in the afternoon. That’s the beauty of a place like The George, Stamford is that they’ve got it covered whether it’s rain or shine. It really was just lovely to photograph at such a charming and beautiful venue.

I always enjoy photographing families, and so it was a real highlight to be able to capture such special memories of all the children. They had so much fun all day, especially the little one who was learning to walk with her wooden dog walker. What I also love about children at weddings is how you can look back on photos in only a few years time and see how much they’ve already grown and changed. Anyway, without further ado here is Clemmie and Billy’s winter wedding day. Isn’t it beautiful?
