I’m Kate, a creative documentary photographer. I’m all about light, bright, beautiful photography.
The work you see today has been shaped by the past nine years – so here’s a brief low-down! For the first six years of business I primarily photographed weddings. Weddings are fun, fast-paced, hectic at times but full of the most lovely people! I only take on a small handful of weddings per year now, so it’s worth getting in touch with your dates and plans to check my availability.
During those first six years, I was also photographing individuals and families for an international NGO, in places like India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Mozambique. Over the next few years I worked as a Creative Content Producer, commissioning photographers and filmmakers in order to tell authentic and first person stories, while also producing, scripting and editing a range of films.
For the past three years, I’ve had a little more time to be able to photograph families too. I really believe the magic is in the everyday moments – in your home, in all its chaos and beauty.
In the last couple of years our family has grown too, and it makes me all the more passionate about telling full and beautiful stories through photos.
I’m here for laid-back families who want beautiful, natural images of their everyday lives together. I’m based near Pangbourne, Berkshire in term time and Stamford, Rutland in the school holidays.
For family photoshoots I work on a ‘wait list’ basis, where I release photoshoot dates in each location each season, so be sure to sign up to the ‘wait list’ to be first to hear when I’m opening up the next set of bookings.
I believe that the love between your family is beautiful and that the real, simple, honest moments right now are worth being remembered. I’d love to help document these precious days.
