As a Berkshire family photographer, I love to share my latest work. It’s wonderful to be able to feature photos I’ve enjoyed making. It also helps to show future families my documentary approach and examples of natural family photography. In fact, having some images that I can share is hugely valuable to my work and the future of my business.
At the same time, through my work in photojournalism within the international NGO sector, I am committed to the concepts of informed consent and people having a choice about where information about themselves and their families is shared, especially online.
I always make sure that you have choices around sharing your names or your faces online. That’s why I send over a ‘model release form’ where you can let me know your preferences.
So today I’m sharing a few select photos from this lovely, natural family shoot. Of course I got lots of shots of all the family and their lovely faces, for them. These are just my favourite ‘in-between’ moments. Hopefully this will give you an even better idea of my documentary approach to family photography. And show you how I’m always looking out for these details and beautiful emotional connections.
Kate Waters Photography is a Berkshire family photographer specialising in natural family photos. I work in and around Berkshire, but I also travel all over the country for family shoots including Oxfordshire, London, Rutland, Gloucestershire and beyond!
It’s so much fun to take photos while your child is still sitting or just started crawling. Take a look at this summer shoot with a child a similar age or my motherhood portraits here.
